In April, we were honored to receive the inaugural North Star Award at Make-A-Wish Minnesota's annual Wish Ball. The award is designed to recognize businesses that have significantly given their time, talent or resources to help MAW fulfill its mission and has contributed toward the vision of reaching every eligible child in Minnesota.
“We couldn’t think of a better inaugural award recipient than Sun Country Airlines,” said Paul Krueger, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Minnesota. “Sun Country’s generosity has allowed thousands of travel wishes to take place. The company and its employees are true champions of our mission to grant wishes to children with critical illnesses.”
Since 2006, we have partnered with Make-A-Wish Minnesota to provide complimentary flights for wish children and their families. To date, we have provided more than $2 million in flights.
